I know you cant really use much real life things in anime, but it got me thinking. How many people died in this anime, someone should research that. Here are the facts someone posted on redit:

i'm still trying to figure out why the hell Captain Kitty there hopped into a reefer delivery truck like that. housecats that wander neighborhoods and are 'regular customers' of shops don't just hop into strange trucks, especially cold ones.

also, cats don't wander that far. cats are extremely territorial, and they hardly ever leave their most familiar haunts.

i've read news stories and scientific bits n pieces about dogs in Russia riding busses and subways for very long distances and on regular routes. but most of the canine scientists and vets had commented/reported the dogs were following specific persons or groups of people the dogs were familiar with. the dogs were not going along a pre-determined and logically plotted out route. dogs are pack animals, cats are only semi-social animals.

the kids were 3 or 4 districts away from Cafe Poirot. Castle Mouri and the Cafe are in a mixed neighborhood, both residential and commercial. Prof. A & the Kudo mansion are in an entirely residential neighborhood. if the kids were just playing to kill time till the Xmas Cake showed up, why would they wander too far from the Professor's house?

so how did ol Captain Kitty get there? did his owner(s) move away from the Cafe Poirot area, and Puss in Gumshoes approached the DBC because they were familiar people?

Cmon man chill its a work of friction it doesnt resemble real life u r trying to connect real life with a show in which all characters r same even after 26 years

considering a good part of Conan is realistic and not fictional (not friction) i stand by my previous statement.

But like u can't expect everything to be perfect it has more than 1000 episodes some will definitely not make sense

oh yeah, i get how some of them are just kinda, thrown together. but there should be a minimum level of screenwriters' craftsmanship and quality control by the individual episode directors and the overall project director.
